The
original Big Song took place in 1997. Like its predecessor, Big Song 2
was a Primary schools songwriting project funded by Awards For All and
run by Barnstorm during February and March 2004. The project culminated
in a huge concert at Priory High School, Exeter on the 23rd March. Big
Song 2 was run by Jez Taylor, Marie Belsten and Tessa Kemp, who also designed
the CD cover. Over 4 visits we wrote and devised songs based on memories
and the secrets to be discovered in an old attic.
